Delivery charges for orders
- We use trusted third-party courier vendors (Courier IT, The Courier Guy and Dawn Wing) to transport your order to your door, anywhere in SA using standard road freight.
- We deliver overnight, weekdays only within Johannesburg on items in stock in Johannesburg.
- Delivery is FREE if your cart total exceeds R2,000.00
- A delivery charge of R100.00 incl VAT will be added to your cart total at checkout for orders below R2,000.00
- Delivery ETA’s are subject to courier service levels.
- You will receive an email notification once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse.

- Please contact the courier company to escalate an issue or update your delivery.

How secure is online shopping?
At Packabook, we take security very seriously, in our stores and especially online. Rest assured that we’ve taken every precaution, using the latest security technology to ensure your personal details are safe and secure with us. All sensitive information you provide is encrypted using industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer technology, and we partner with a leading South African payment processor.
We also insist that all credit card payments use 3D Secure processes (such as MasterCard’s SecureCode and Verified by Visa) so you will be prompted for a one-time PIN when purchasing to prevent you from fraudulent transactions. In short, this means that we’ve done everything we can to ensure that your details are always safe and secure.
Currently, we are using payfast as our payment method. Otherwise, EFT can be used to make direct bank transfers.

ORDERS AND RETURNS
Our policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Some types of goods are exempt from being returned.
To complete your return, please email your order number and reason for return to email@example.com. We will communicate with you about the next step forward.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer or distributor.
Refund (If applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.
Once approved by management, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
If you have paid using PayFast, please contact PayFast support via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Then contact your bank or credit card company, it may take some time before the refund reflects into your account.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us via email: email@example.com
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email: firstname.lastname@example.org to request an exchange.
To return your product, please contact via email: email@example.com. Courier charges will be for your account if you have placed your order incorrectly or if you are returning an item within 7 days for a refund.
Packabook will be responsible for courier costs for returning your item if we have made an error with picking your order or if the product is defective.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
